Scholarships

At Lighthouse Christian College, we strive for academic excellence and are exceptionally proud of our students. There are six Academic and General Excellence Scholarships available each year to new and current students entering Year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the following year at Lighthouse Christian College.

Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships will be awarded on achievement in a Scholarship Examination and an interview with the Principal.

General Excellence Scholarships

General Excellence Scholarships will be awarded on the ability to demonstrate outstanding excellence and/or leadership in several different fields of endeavour relating to school life and an interview with the Principal. Applicants are required to register to sit the Scholarship Examination in addition to filling in a separate application form.

Scholarship Benefits
Up to 50% fee discount tenable until the end of Year 12.

How to apply
All registration forms are available at the school office. A registration form must be completed and handed into the school office by the closing date. A $65 registration fee is required. This is non-refundable.

Prospective students are required to submit a complete enrolment application in addition to their scholarship registration form.

For 2010 Scholarships
Applications close – 4pm Friday 21st August 2009.

For 2011 Scholarships
Applications close – 4pm Friday 21st May 2010.
Scholarship Examination – 9am Sat 29th May 2010 at Lighthouse Christian College.
